  • 許冠傑第一張廣東大碟。
    Sam Hui's first Cantonese album.

  • 一九七五年三月，許冠傑在麗的主辦的《金唱片大會串》憑這大碟榮獲寶麗金唱片公司頒贈金唱片。
    In March 1975, Sam received the gold record award with this album from Polygram records at the annual awards ceremony.

  • 在東南亞總銷量達十五萬，破當年紀錄。
    Album sold 150,000 copies in North East Asia, breaking all previous records.

  • 那時粵語歌多數都改自英文歌，這隻碟中的『鐵塔凌雲』可說是推動原創的開始。『鬼馬雙星』成為英國BBC電台播放的第一首中文歌曲，帶動了廣東歌曲的熱潮。
    During that period in Hong Kong music industry, most Cantonese songs originated from overseas and were given Cantonese lyrics. This album is a milestone for the start of original Cantonese music. Title song became the first Chinese song broadcast on BBC radio's, creating the start of a "Cantonese song" fever.

  • 20世紀光輝印記 Data Conversion Systems 系列的dCS CD：此碟之母帶採用 dCS 954 機經 24 bit format 處理，令動態更驚人，訊噪比大為提升。再加上128倍超頻取樣，實現了最精密細緻的音頻訊號CD錄音，再以 Sony PCM9000 唯讀光碟作母帶直接印製CD以減低耗損。而每卷印模均嚴格限量印製2000隻CD即作報銷以確保完美音色。
